Now Hiring | Supplier Quality Assurance Scientist (SQA) – PepsiCo | Hyderabad, India
PepsiCo is looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Scientist (SQA) to join our AMESA (Africa, Middle East, South Asia) SQA team in Hyderabad, Telangana.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity, safety, and quality of ingredients supplied across our global supply chain. You’ll lead the re-approval process for ~200 low-risk supplier sites annually, maintain quality documentation, and support global food safety programs and compliance initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate annual and 3-year supplier site re-approvals using Trackwise database
- Communicate with suppliers to g ather food safety certifications (GFSI/ISO9001), HACCP plans, audit reports & more
- Update internal supplier ingredient databases with accurate, compliant information
- Assist in preparing quarterly reports on supplier non-conformances
- Support Food Fraud, PSIP, and regulatory documentation programs
- Help manufacturing sites in Europe prepare for GFSI audits
Who You Are:
- A graduate in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, or related disciplines
- 1–2 years’ experience in QA/QC, Regulatory or Technical roles within the food/FMCG industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and data platforms
- A clear communicator with strong organizational skills
- Lead Auditor certification is a plus (or must be willing to complete post-hire)
