Industry: Ayurveda / Nutraceutical / Pharma / Food
Position Summary
The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with Herbalife global quality requirements and adherence to QA & QC procedures during manufacturing and storage of Herbalife products at the contract manufacturing site in Indore. This position acts as the Site QA Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with Herbalife quality procedures
- Conduct periodic quality & hygiene audits as per Herbalife, Ministry of AYUSH, Ayurveda standards, and FSSAI GMP guidelines
- Coordinate with CM for process changes impacting quality
- Handle complaints, RCA and CAPA implementation
- Support troubleshooting of RM, PM, and process quality issues
- Conduct regular quality & food safety trainings for site teams
- Review documents and provide batch dispatch approvals
- Prepare and share MIS and periodic quality reports
- Support validation of new products at the site
- Participate in cross-functional improvement projects
- Perform testing of RM, PM & FG and support OOS investigations
- Drive continuous improvement projects in QA & QC
Sr. Officer – Quality Assurance|Herbalife
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduation / Post Graduation in
Food Technology, Food Science, Chemical Technology, Pharma, or allied streams
Skills & Knowledge
- Experience with Ayurveda products and strong knowledge of AYUSH requirements
- Exposure to HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000
- Knowledge of QC processes: Calibration, OOS, OOT, Sampling, Test Procedures
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience
- 5–7 years of relevant industry experience
- Industry exposure: Ayurveda / Nutraceutical / Pharma / Food
