We’re Hiring | Sr. Officer – Quality Assurance (India)
Herbalife International India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and experienced Sr. Officer – Quality Assurance to join our team at our Contract Manufacturing site in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
Role Overview
This position serves as the Site QA Lead, ensuring compliance with Herbalife’s global quality requirements and adherence to Quality Assurance & Quality Control procedures during manufacturing and storage of Herbalife products.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Herbalife Quality procedures and global standards
- Conduct periodic audits to meet Herbalife, Ministry of AYUSH, Ayurveda standards, and FSSAI GMP guidelines
- Monitor processes to ensure quality and hygiene compliance
- Coordinate with CM for complaint handling, RCA, and CAPA
- Support troubleshooting of RM, PM, and process-related quality challenges
- Conduct regular quality & food safety trainings
- Verify documentation and approve batch dispatches
- Support validation of new products
- Handle RM, PM & FG testing and OOS investigations
- Drive continual improvement projects in QA & QC
Qualifications
- Graduate / Post Graduate in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemical Technology, Pharma, or allied streams
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in Ayurveda / Nutraceutical / Pharma / Food industry
- Strong knowledge of AYUSH requirements
- Experience with HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000
- Hands-on knowledge of QC processes (Calibration, OOS, OOT, Sampling)
- Process knowledge: Granulation, Compression, Coating, Blending
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
