About the Role
As a Sr. Associate – NPD, you’ll be responsible for developing new dairy products based on project assignments from the Product Development or Sales teams. You’ll lead product innovation from concept to commercialization — ensuring every product meets on-time, on-budget, and on-target goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage R&D projects and maintain strong stakeholder communication.
- Develop and test prototypes; conduct sensory, analytical, and benchmarking evaluations.
- Collaborate with production and QA teams during trial runs and plant start-ups.
- Scale up R&D processes from lab to full production.
- S upervise R&D technicians, maintain inventory and documentation.
- Lead shelf-life studies, HACCP plans, and product safety compliance.
- Ensure 5S standards, cleanliness, and safety in pilot plant and lab operations.
- Support continuous improvement in product and process efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dairy Technology or Dairy Chemistry.
- 3–6 years of experience in product development or R&D.
- Expertise in Natural & Processed Cheese manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of formulation design, process improvement, and food safety principles (HACCP).
- Cultured dairy product experience is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for product trials and evaluations.
