Position Overview: As a Shift Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations, maintaining high-quality standards, and providing leadership to ensure a delightful ice cream experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide a team of Scoopers, Cashiers, and Kitchen Staff, ensuring smooth operations during your shift.
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, taking orders, and resolving concerns promptly.
- Manage shift operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and inventory monitoring.
- Ensure product quality, consistency, and hygiene, while following safety regulations.
- Oversee cash handling, ensure accurate transactions, and assist with cash counts at the end of your shift.
- Train and develop new employees and provide ongoing coaching to improve performance.
- Drive sales and upselling strategies to boost revenue.
- Generate shift reports and analyze trends to help improve operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (a degree in hospitality or business management is a plus).
- Prior experience in a supervisory role, ideally within the food service industry.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and communication.
