Hiring: Senior Quality Control Officer for New Plant in Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quality Control Officer with a degree in Food Technology for our new plant in Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu. If you are a native of the region or looking to relocate, we’d love to hear from you!
Ideal Candidate:
- 6 to 10 years of experience in food product manufacturing
- Expertise in quality management and HACCP, FSSC 22000 standards
- Experience managing large production facilities
- Strong knowledge in hygiene, raw material specification, training, product safety, sensory audits, process enhancement, and record-keep ing
- Proficient in FSSAI compliance and legal meteorology
- Capable of hiring and training associates for the quality team
- Passionate about food product quality practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the implementation and maintenance of HACCP systems and audits in compliance with regulatory standards
- Oversee hygiene and safety standards across the production facility
- Manage raw material specifications and ensure they meet quality standards
- Conduct sensory audits to ensure product quality
- Lead process improvement initiatives for enhanced product quality and efficiency
- Maintain accurate records for all quality control and HACCP activities
- Ensure FSSAI compliance, including regular audits and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all legal meteorology and food safety regulations
- Hire, train, and supervise the quality control team to uphold product quality standards
