Senior Manager – Standards & Technical Services
Location: New Delhi
Reports to: CEO, FICSI (Food Processing Sector Skill Council)
Preference: Candidates based in Delhi NCR and available for immediate joining
FICSI is seeking a dynamic and passionate Senior Manager – Standards & Technical Services to lead the future of skill development in the food processing sector. This role presents a unique opportunity for an experienced Food Technologist to contribute significantly to shaping the future of food processing education and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development: Design and develop customized curricula for food processing skill development programs.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Stay updated with relevant regulatory requirements set by NCVET.
- Ecosystem Development: Build and maintain a network of industry experts, academics, and content developers.
- Quality Assurance: Lead quality control initiatives to ensure continuous improvements.
- Team Supervision: Oversee a team of food technologists and ensure successful project execution.
- Skill Gap Studies: Conduct research on existing and future skill gaps in the food processing sector.
- Industry Representation: Represent FICSI at industry, academic, and government forums.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Master’s in Food Technology, Food Engineering, or a related field. A PhD is a plus.
- Experience: Around 10 years in a technical role within food processing.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities. A self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments.
