Position Overview: As Senior Manager – New Product Development, you’ll lead the lifecycle of innovative and healthy products, from concept through commercialization. Your role will involve working with cross-functional teams, managing product strategy, sourcing ingredients, and ensuring that customer needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative, tasty, and healthy products in line with market trends and company goals in health, sustainability, and wellness.
- Lead the ideation, recipe formulation, and testing processes, ensuring that products are free from maida, sugar, palm oil, and preservatives.
- Collaborate with marketing, procurement, quality, and operations teams to align product development with consumer needs and expectations.
- Oversee the sourcing of ingredients that meet both nutritional and regulatory standards.
- Manage end-to-end project timelines, ensuring timely product launches and high-quality standards.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Food Science or Food Technology.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the food industry, with a proven track record of successful product launches.
- Broad knowledge of clean, natural ingredients and experience with one or more product categories such as extruded products, baked goods, or snacks.
- Experience managing end-to-end projects, leading teams, and working with contract manufacturers.
