Position Overview: As a Senior Manager – New Product Development, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of new products—from concept to commercialization. You will work on creating healthy, innovative, and great-tasting food products with a focus on sustainability, health, and wellness. This role involves collaboration across multiple teams, from marketing and procurement to operations and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision: Lead development of healthy, innovative food products aligned with current market trends and company goals.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to ensure product success from ideation to launch.
Ingredient Sourcing & Supply Chain: Collaborate with procurement to source high-quality ingredients and ensure compliance with nutritional and regulatory standards.
Recipe Formulation & Development: Lead the recipe development and commercialization process, ensuring feasibility and quality standards are met.
Customer Focus: Keep the customer’s needs at the center of product development, incorporating market trends and consumer feedback.
Project Management & Product Launch: Manage the timeline, budget, and coordination of product launches to ensure successful market entry.
Experience & Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Food Science or Food Technology.
A minimum of 10 years in the food industry, with proven success in launching products.
Experience with product categories like extruded products, baked goods, snacks.
Strong project management experience and team leadership skills.
Knowledge of natural, clean-label ingredients is a plus.
Experience with contract manufacturers and plant operations is an advantage.
