Senior Food Technologist-Wellversed
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and define fortnightly priorities with the central team.
- Plan and execute weekly experiments, ensuring they are systematically logged.
- Meet weekly and monthly targets for experiments and transitions to production.
- Gather and analyze consumer feedback for quarterly product improvements.
- Manage product changes according to upgrade cycles.
- Update COGs logs and ensure timely availability of materials for experiments.
- Set budgets, ensure ethical fund allocation, and optimize production costs.
- Develop QA protocols for newly launched products and oversee smooth pilot production batches.
Experience & Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in Research & Development in the Food Manufacturing, Nutraceutical, or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Hands-on experience with food-related equipment (e.g., Hot Air Oven, Kjeldahl).
- Familiarity with complex equipment such as HPLC and GC.
- Experience in market and ingredient research.
- Proven track record in COGs reduction and research tool proficiency.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced research and experimentation experience.
- Familiarity with specialized equipment in food production.
- Expertise in cost optimization in production settings.
