Wellversed, a leader in nutrition and wellness, is seeking a Senior Food Technologist (R&D) to join our team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our existing product lineup and developing innovative products that align with market needs. The ideal candidate will bring a creative approach to research, product development, and quality assurance, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead R&D projects and align them with business objectives.
- Develop research programs to improve existing products and explore new product potentials.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to set project goals and priorities.
- Oversee testing and quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Manage customer relationships, including RFP reviews and product testing.
- Monitor and evaluate product performance, providing recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all R&D phases.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in relevant field.
- Certification in GHP & GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, etc.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel/Google Sheets.
- Proven experience in a similar role with excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Creativity in product development and the ability to think outside the box.
