We’re Hiring: Senior Food Technologist at Wellversed

Wellversed is looking for a skilled Senior Food Technologist to join our growing team and contribute to our mission of empowering people to achieve their optimal wellness. Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the central team to define priorities and experiment plans.
Ensure systematic logging of experiments and tracking of progress.
Meet weekly and monthly targets for experiments and transitions to production.
Gather consumer feedback monthly and plan for quarterly product improvements.
Execute product upgrades as per scheduled cycles.
Maintain centralized logs for COGs and ensure smooth transitions to production.
Manage experiment resources, including apparatus and ingredients, 72 hours in advance.
Set monthly budget allocations and ensure ethical fund distribution.
Update cost optimization reports and ensure compliance with QA protocols before product launches.
Oversee smooth execution of pilot production batches.
Required Experience & Skills:
At least 4 years of experience in R&D within Food Manufacturing, Nutraceutical, or Pharmaceutical industries.
Hands-on experience with basic food-related equipment like Hot Air Oven, Kjeldahl, etc.
Knowledge of complex equipment (e.g., HPLC, GC).
Experience conducting market, ingredient, and need specification research.
Proven expertise in COGs reduction and proficiency in research tools like Mendeley, Stata, Examine, and Google Scholar.
Good to Have:
Additional experience with advanced research methods.
Familiarity with specialized equipment in the food production industry.
Experience in cost optimization in production settings.
