Key Responsibilities:
Conduct chemical analyses of food products to ensure quality and safety compliance.
Develop and validate analytical methods for various food matrices.
Interpret analytical data and prepare comprehensive reports.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on food safety and quality.
Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in food chemistry.
Mentor and train junior analysts, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving analytical issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
3-4 years of experience in a food analytical laboratory, particularly in chemical analysis of food products.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
Proficient in laboratory equipment and analytical techniques.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
