Qualifications
- Post-Graduate (Preferred in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or DIFAT)
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Systems within:
FMCG
Food Processing
Distillery / Brewery / Beverage Industry
Key Skills
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems
- Experience developing and controlling quality-related SOPs
- Hands-on experience in quality improvement projects
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, coaching, influencing & presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of raw materials, blends, and finished goods; share findings with the unit head
- Inspect packaging materials received at the unit/market
- Communicate non-conformities to vendors and issue CAR
- Oversee online QC—from line start-up and changeover to final packing
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on rejections/failures
- Calibrate lab equipment, prepare calibration plans, and ensure maintenance as per supplier guidelines
- Analyze customer/consumer complaint samples and prepare detailed reports
- Standardize chemical reagents and manage lab calibrations
- Perform root cause analysis for non-conformities and develop CAPA
- Support Quality Manager with MIS reports and quality tasks
