Job Description of Sr. Quality Executive – QA:
DIAGEO India is seeking a Senior Executive – Quality to join our team in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or DIFAT, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the FMCG sector, such as distilleries, breweries, beverages, or food industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience with analysis techniques, lab instrument calibration, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of QMS (Quality Management Systems) and FSMS (Food Safety Management Systems).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Control quality defects in incoming and finished goods to ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high product and process standards.
- Promote food safety and quality culture within the unit.
- End-to-end quality monitoring, including online checks and quality control for factories and materials.
- Oversee raw material, packaging material, and finished goods quality, ensuring they meet set standards.
- Maintain records and update SAP systems.
- Train and develop shop floor workers on quality processes.
- Conduct internal audits for GMP, GRMS, and SQIP.
- Interact with government authorities such as FSSAI, LMR, and Excise for audits and compliance.
- Ensure timely analysis of raw materials and packaging materials and submit reports promptly.
- Participate in market v isits for product surveys or complaint sample collections when necessary.
- Implement GMP/GLP, GSP, GHP, and 5S practices at all times.
- Handle vendor communication and rejections, coordinating with the site QA team.
Skills & Requirements:
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or DIFAT.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the FMCG sector.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse teams and vendors.
- Quick learner with initiative and adaptability.
