GJ Foods is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Senior Executive Quality or Quality Executive to join our Quality Assurance & Quality Control team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our food products meet the highest quality standards at all stages of production.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Assurance & Testing:
    • Conduct real-time monitoring of raw materials (RM), packaging materials (PM), finished goods (FG), and in-process materials.
    • Perform laboratory testing (moisture content, microbial testing, texture analysis, etc.).
    • Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are adhered to on the production floor.
    • Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
  2. Compliance & Documentation:
    • Maintain shift-wise records of all quality checks and test results.
    • Ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, FSSC, and other regulatory standards.
    • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation.
  3. Production & Process Monitoring:
    • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality-related issues.
    • Identify non-conformance issues, investigate root causes, and suggest corrective actions.
    • Ensure vehicle inspections are conducted before unloading RM or loading FG.
  4. Reporting & Coordination:
    • Prepare and submit shift quality reports to Assistant Managers.
    • Escalate major quality deviations to the Assistant Manager and Quality Manager.
    • Coordinate with senior team members on product compliance.

Key Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Executive: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Senior Executive: 2-5 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance within the food processing industry.
  • Freshers with strong academic knowledge and eagerness to learn are welcome to apply for the Executive role.

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of food safety standards (ISO 22000, HACCP, FSSC, GMP, BRC).
  • Experience with lab testing methods and handling instruments (e.g., spectrophotometer, viscometer, texture analyzer).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP systems for quality documentation.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to document findings accurately.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with production and management teams.
  • Ability to work in a rotational shift environment.
