DIAGEO India is seeking an experienced Senior Executive in Quality Assurance to join our team. This role is crucial to ensuring high standards across our operations, including raw material analysis, quality control, and improvement initiatives.
Job Description
Typical Role Requirements
Qualification:
Postgraduate or equivalent qualification, ideally in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or a similar field.
Experience:
3-5 years in Quality Assurance and Quality Systems within Food Processing, FMCG, Distillery, Brewery, or Beverage industries.
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of quality management systems.
Hands-on experience with quality-related SOP development and control.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Strong communication, presentation, coaching, and influencing skills.
Areas of Responsibility
Quality Operations:
Analyze raw materials, intermediate blends, and finished goods; report findings to the unit head.
Inspect and report on packaging materials.
Communicate with vendors regarding non-conformities and corrective actions.
Oversee online quality control, line startups, and changeovers.
Coordinate with departments for quality issue resolutions.
Calibrate and maintain lab equipment, including adherence to supplier manuals.
Manage customer and consumer complaint samples and report findings.
Standardize chemical reagents and calibrations for lab use.
Use analytical tools to identify non-conformities and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
Assist the Quality Manager in all quality tasks and prepare regular MIS reports.
