The Opportunity – Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Executive – Food Safety & Quality to manage and strengthen food safety systems, hygiene practices, audits, and compliance processes across operations.
Key Responsibilities
Food Safety Management
- Implement and monitor HACCP and FSSAI food safety plans.
- Conduct routine hygiene audits in production and warehouse areas.
- Ensure pest control effectiveness and corrective actions.
- Monitor hygiene compliance of production and warehouse teams.
Quality Control & Assurance
- Perform in-process checks for BIB/BIJ lines (sealing, weight, packaging, batch printing).
- Conduct checks for incoming RM/PM and finished goodsas per COA and specs.
- Lead internal audits and support external audits (FSSAI, ISO, customer audits).
- Maintain accurate documentation (BMR, test logs, release notes).
Training & Awareness
- Train staff on GMP, GHP, and food safety handling practices.
- Conduct food safety mock drills and scenario-based training.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain and update SOPs, quality records, deviation logs, and traceability documents.
- Ensure full traceability and timely reconciliation.
- Raise and manage NCs, CAPA, and ensure timely closure.
