About the Role
We are looking for a skilled professional responsible for producing high-quality cheese (Cheddar, Mozzarella, String Cheese) as per customer and organizational standards. The role demands strong process knowledge, adherence to GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent production.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Cheddar & Mozzarella production and ensure smooth shift operations.
- Ensure compliance with quality systems and maintain minimum downtime and product loss.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for equipment performance and instrument calibration.
- Track OEE, yield, and packing material losses.
- Review formulations and specifications based on customer requirements.
- Prepare MIS reports for production needs, ingredients, and packing materials.
- Coordinate production planning with the plant coordinator.
- Maintain high hygiene standards and ensure food safety compliance in all processing and packing areas.
- Manage production logs, stocks, shift handover reports, downtime reports, and deviation reports.
- Lead manpower handling, SIM meetings, and safety talks.
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials, finished products, and salvage.
- Prepare daily MIS and recovery reports to control losses.
What You Need to Succeed
- Experience: 5–6 years in Cheddar & Mozzarella manufacturing.
- Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Dairy Technology or Dairy Science.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA operations, GMP, HACCP, ISO & cheese manufacturing technology.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication & process skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and contribute to continuous improvement.
