IFF (International Flavors & Fragrances) is a top name in taste, scent, and nutrition, offering a wide range of innovative solutions to the food and beverage industry. We are currently seeking a Senior Application Specialist – Brewing to join our Health & Bioscience business in India.

This role is perfect for an individual with in-depth knowledge and experience in enzymes for the brewing industry, who is ready to support the ongoing growth of our business. This is a dynamic position that will work closely with our global brewing team and collaborate with our laboratory in Denmark to drive product innovation and optimization.


Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Application Specialist, you will:

Perform laboratory analysis on brewing raw materials and conduct mashing trials.

Collaborate with a Senior Lead Application Scientist to ensure customer satisfaction.

Support new product launches, including customer engagement, trial setup, monitoring, and technical reporting.

Implement IFF brewing enzyme solutions in partnership with sales, product management, and the global Food Enzyme Team.

Visit customer sites across the Indian brewing industry and build a robust professional network.

Independently manage lab activities, analyze results, and report findings to both customers and the IFF brewing team.

Identify new business opportunities with current and potential clients.

Address technical issues at customer sites by providing solutions using IFF brewing products.

Conduct application trials at both customer locations and IFF pilot facilities to validate and document enzyme solution functionality.


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A degree in Brewing & Malting Technology, Microbiology, Fermentation Science, Food Science, or Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, with preference for candidates holding a Master Brewer certification.

Hands-on experience managing laboratory work and conducting brewing analysis.

At least 3 years of experience in industrial brewing or academic research.

Strong customer-focused personality with excellent interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of the customer organization.

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and network across various organizational and geographical boundaries.

Willingness to travel up to 30%, including to customer production sites.
