About the Role
Wellversed is looking for a Research & Development Associate with experience in developing innovative nutraceutical, food, and pharmaceutical product formulations. If you are passionate about research, product innovation, and bringing new health-focused products to market, this opportunity could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Formulation & New Product Development – Develop and optimize nutraceutical and pharmaceutical formulations across formats such as powders, tablets, capsules, liquids, sachets, and granules. Work on excipient compatibility, taste masking, solubility, and stability optimization.
Ingredient, Molecule & Delivery System Research – Evaluate APIs, bioactives, nutraceutical ingredients, and functional compounds for efficacy, safety, and feasibility.
Scale-Up & Manufacturing Support – Lead formulation transfer from lab-scale to pilot and commercial production, ensuring smooth technology transfer and manufacturing feasibility.
Documentation & Compliance
Requirements:
1–4 years of full-time experience in Food Processing, R&D, or NPD
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel / Google Sheets)
Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutics, Food Technology, or Pharmacology
Strong research methodology knowledge and analytical thinking
Adaptability, learning mindset, and ability to work in dynamic project environments
