- Powder Characteristics: Knowledge of powder properties such as particle size, moisture content, and flowability.
- Thermal Processing: Understanding the thermal behavior of food ingredients during drying.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Skills in implementing and managing quality control protocols specific to spray-dried products.
- Analytical Methods: Proficiency in analytical techniques used to test and validate food ingredients.
- Process Scale-Up: Experience in scaling up laboratory processes to pilot and full-scale production.
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards applicable to spray-dried ingredients.
