Job Description:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented R&D Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the food and beverage industry, working closely with our R&D team on product development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the formulation and development of new food and beverage products, including carbonated beverages, plant-based drinks, and ready-to-eat meals.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and trials to test product formulations and improve existing products.
- Analyze and document results from sensory evaluations, stability tests, and other experimental procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Quality Assurance, and Production to ensure successful product launches.
- Conduct literature reviews and research on new ingredients, technologies, and market trends.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings and project progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology.
- Strong interest in the food and beverage industry and product development.
- Basic knowledge of food chemistry, microbiology, and processing techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or work experience in an R&D or food production environment.
- Familiarity with sensory evaluation techniques and statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and food safety standards.
