Wellversed is looking for a Research & Development Associate with hands-on experience in new product development across food, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical domains. If you’re passionate about formulation science and building innovative wellness products, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Resp onsibilities
Product Formulation & NPD
- Develop and optimize nutraceutical and pharmaceutical formulations across powders, tablets, capsules, liquids, sachets, and granules
- Translate product briefs, regulatory requirements, and market needs into executable formulations
- Conduct excipient compatibility studies, taste masking, solubility, and stability optimization
Ingredient, Molecule & Delivery System Research
- Evaluate APIs, bioactives, nutraceutical ingredients, and functional compounds for efficacy, safety, and feasibility
Scale-Up & Manufacturing Support
- Lead formulation transfer from lab scale to pilot and commercial manufacturing
Documentation, Compliance & Collaboration
- Maintain detailed R&D documentation, formulation reports, and change control records
- Support compliance with FSSAI, GMP, and pharmaceutical guidelines
- Assist during audits and collaborate with Production, QA/QC, Engineering, Procurement, and Compliance teams
Requirements
1–4 years of full-time experience in Food Processing, R&D, or New Product Development
Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutics, Food Technology, or Pharmacology
Strong understanding of research methodologies
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel / Google Sheets)
High learnability, adaptability, and flexibility in fast-moving projects
