About the Role:
As the Quality Incharge, you’ll be responsible for upholding the highest standards of food quality and safety in our potato flakes production line. You’ll lead QA/QC operations, maintain compliance with food safety regulations, and drive continuous improvement in product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control quality parameters at every stage — from raw potato intake to finished flakes.
- Lead and mentor the QA/QC team to ensure effective testing and documentation.
- Maintain compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, and customer audit standards.
- Conduct internal audits, hygiene inspections, and ensure adherence to GMP/GHP protocols.
- Investigate customer complaints and implement CAPA actions.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and maintenance teams for seamless quality assurance.
- Prepare and update product specifications, testing protocols, and sampling plans.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in food processing (preferably potato flakes or similar).
- Strong understanding of food safety systems (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC).
- Hands-on experience in lab testing, moisture analysis, and in-process checks.
- Strong documentation, leadership, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in dehydrated or potato flake industry.
- Exposure to export standards and customer audits.
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
