Location: Guwahati, Assam
Join our team as a Quality In-Charge and make a significant impact on beverage quality assurance and control at a manufacturing plant level.
Who We’re Looking For:
Suitable Candidates:
Educational Qualification:
B.Tech/BE/BSc/MSc in Food Technology, Dairy Tech, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Chemistry.
Experience:
8-10 years in FMCG Beverage/Food manufacturing industries.
Minimum 2-3 years of team handling experience.
Special Note:
Non-Carbonated Beverage experience is an added advantage.
Preference for candidates from Assam/North East region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving Compliance:
Ensure compliance with FSSAI guidelines and ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 standards.
Maintain quality standards across procurement, processing, and sales.
Act as Food Safety Team Leader and FSSAI nominee.
- Managing Quality Operations:
Oversee QA activities, audits, and SOP adherence at the plant.
Conduct vendor and packaging supplier performance audits.
Handle quality complaints and lead improvement initiatives.
Prepare and manage the annual quality department budget.
- Driving Improvements in Quality:
Document and analyze quality processes for continuous improvement.
Train employees on food safety, hygiene, and cleaning practices.
Benchmark competitor products and develop quality enhancement strategies.
- Additional Expertise:
Supervise ETP, STP, and WTP plants as per legal requirements.
Drive Safety Culture in collaboration with the Plant Head and HR/Admin.
Stay updated on food safety compliance and implement required changes.
