Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Microbiologist & Chemist to join our quality team and ensure the highest standards of product safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Microbiological Control • Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, packaging materials, and finished products
• Conduct environmental monitoring (air, surface, and personnel hygiene)
• Maintain aseptic conditions and manage culture/media preparation
• Operate microbiology laboratory equipment and analyze test results
• Monitor sanitation and sterilization effectiveness
• Ensure safe disposal of microbiological waste
Chemical Quality Control • Conduct chemical analysis of raw water, processed water, and finished products
• Monitor pH, TDS, hardness, alkalinity, and other quality parameters
• Oversee water treatment processes including RO, filtration, and dosing systems
• Calibrate laboratory instruments and investigate deviations
• Support troubleshooting and process improvements related to water quality
Quality Systems & Compliance • Ensure compliance with BIS, FSSAI, FSDA, WHO, and other applicable standards
• Maintain laboratory records, reports, and traceability documentation
• Support internal and external audits
• Follow GLP, HACCP, ISO, and safety protocols
• Assist in CAPA implementation and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
• Strong laboratory, analytical, and quality control skills
• Experience handling laboratory equipment and calibration activities
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills
• Familiarity with food and beverage industry standards is an added advantage
Additional Information • 12-hour working shifts (Day/Night as per operational requirements)
• Candidates should be comfortable working night shifts
• Willingness to relocate is required
• Salary: ₹16,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience and interview performance)
