About the Operational Model:
Our operational model sets us apart. With zero finished goods inventory, we ensure that all our fresh products are made for the day they are shipped to retail stores. This unique approach is made possible by our in-house fleet of vehicles and distribution personnel. Currently, a fleet of 500 dedicated vehicles and crew touch 25,000 retailers daily, replenishing over 100,000 kg units of the freshest produce.
Key Responsibilities:
The Quality Head role, based in Anekal, involves overseeing the plant quality for 5 manufacturing plants across global markets. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of direct reports and ensuring effective leadership.
- Handling plant quality control functions, including raw material quality, process quality, and finished product quality.
- Managing audits, compliance, and designing food safety management systems.
- Handling consumer complaints and driving corrective and preventive actions.
- Overseeing all product development procedures to maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with relevant legal standards.
Key Requirements:
- Education: B.Tech/M.Tech/MSC in Food Science/Technology/Dairy Science/Technology.
- Experience: 14+ years of experience in plant operations/plant quality control with at least 3-4 years of QA experience handling multiple plants.
- Communication: Proficiency in English and native regional language.
- Industry: FMCG/food production/processing.
