About the Job
Tata Consumer Products Limited is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join their team in Indore. The role involves ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in food production, maintaining compliance with ISO standards, and fostering continuous improvement in processes.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the ISO 22000:2018 management system.
Manage documentation related to FSMS/QMS, verification, validation, and other applicable areas.
Handle customer complaints, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Ensure timely completion of quality function requirements and maintain accurate SAP records.
Oversee GMP/GHP in the warehouse and address audit findings.
Generate and maintain the MIS system following established protocols.
Participate in product and process improvement trials.
Conduct process capability studies and implement improvement activities using TQM tools.
Train shop floor employees on GMP, food safety, FSSC 22000, and FSSAI requirements.
Collaborate with teams, including 3P resources and sourcing colleagues.
Compile, analyze, and generate quality-related reports.
Arrange shift schedules for QA Executives across 3P units.
Undertake additional tasks as communicated by the corporate team.
Critical Success Factors
Experience: 3 to 10 years in a relevant field.
Education:
Preferred: B.Tech/BE/B.Sc in Food Technology, Food Engineering.
Secondary: M.Sc in Food Technology.
Expertise in food safety, risk management, and commodity quality testing (physical and chemical).
Familiarity with commodity materials such as pulses.
Proven experience in team handling and stakeholder management.
Desirable Skills
In-depth knowledge of quality and food safety requirements, including FSMS.
Strong leadership qualities and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAP.
Effective communication and ability to implement new concepts.
Expertise in QC data analysis, quality tools, and troubleshooting.
