About the Job
Shanthi Feeds Private Limited is seeking a dynamic and energetic Quality Assurance (QA) Officer for our chicken processing plant. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and will be responsible for ensuring that quality standards and procedures are followed, leading a team to maintain high-quality product parameters, and ensuring compliance with food safety and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee quality control in designated areas of the plant.
Ensure adherence to laid-down quality standards (SO/HACCP) to maintain food safety, statutory requirements, and company standards.
Monitor and ensure legal compliance in labeling and product processes.
Maintain product traceability records.
Keep all process monitoring records up to date for audits.
Ensure plant quality procedures are followed to minimize complaints.
Monitor factory hygiene and staff cleanliness daily, providing feedback to production and cleaning teams.
Requirements:
M.Tech/B.Tech in Food Technology or equivalent degree.
Proven experience as a QA Officer in the meat industry (3-5 years).
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of meat processing procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer programs.
