Britannia Industries is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Officer to join our team in Ranjangaon. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in Biscuit & Cake manufacturing, particularly those with strong expertise in quality control and consumer complaint handling.
Qualifications:
- Educational background in Food Technology, MSc Food Science, MSc Chemistry, Bio-Tech, or MBA.
- Certification in Lead Auditor FSSC 22000 (only for FSO), Green Belt Six Sigma Certification, and PCQI (only for FSO).
Experience:
- 5-7+ years in the FMCG industry, specifically within Biscuit, Cake, or Bakery food manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in managing lab functions, consumer complaints, and direct consumer interaction.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Excel/Spreadsheet management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze quality trends, identify potential quality failures, and take preventive actions.
- Support vendor quality audits as needed and ensure compliance with testing frequencies and sample sizes.
- Verify that test results are within specifications and escalate deviations to the quality manager.
- Implement and manage quality walls, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Participate in central quality audits, address findings, and oversee corrective action implementation.
- Investigate quality complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure actions are taken.
- Maintain and enforce hygiene standards in the plant.
