Position: Manager – Quality Assurance
Qualification: BSc/B.Tech in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Technology, or Food Process Engineering
Experience: Minimum 10 years in the Hotel & Restaurant industry
Industry: Hotel & Restaurants
Responsibilities:
- Lead and assist in all QA activities, ensuring timely follow-ups and implementation.
- Develop SOPs and validate shelf life of in-house products.
- Design and execute monthly training programs to meet quality and food safety objectives.
- Track QA lab expenses and monitor internal QA audits across India.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI and regula tory norms, and manage pest control strategies.
- Oversee temperature-controlled devices and transport facilities to maintain food safety.
- Calculate nutritional values for new recipes and monitor chemical usage in outlets.
- Compile QA data for quarterly reviews and ensure corrective/preventive actions for guest complaints.
- Perform out-station QA audits as needed.
Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of experience in food safety and hygiene (FSSAI).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- FoStac certified supervisor.
