The company has also launched an organic product line and is transitioning all operations to organic.
About the Role: Quality Assurance Manager
As the Quality Assurance (QA) Manager, you will oversee daily operations of the QA team in the FMCG sector, ensuring all products and processes meet established quality standards. This position plays a key role in continuous improvement efforts and compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the QA team, ensuring efficient execution of quality assurance activities.
- Oversee and implement QA processes throughout production, including regular inspections and audits.
- Develop and update QA protocols and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for quality audits.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
- Conduct chemical/microbial analysis of products.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality within the organization.
- Provide training opportunities for QA team members.
- Prepare and present QA reports to senior management.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or Engineering.
- Experience: 6-10 years in quality assurance within the FMCG sector, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of QA principles and regulations in FMCG.
- Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
- Proficiency in ISO standards, HACCP, Six Sigma, and quality management systems.
