Hiring Alert | QC Executive / Quality Control Officer (Food Industry) – Mumbai
is expanding its Quality Control team!
We are a premium gifting and better-for-you snacking brand working with leading corporates across India. With in-house manufacturing and a strong focus on quality, hygiene, and clean ingredients, we are growing rapidly and looking for a passionate QC professional to join us.
Location:
Andheri – Marol, Mumbai
(Please apply only if you are Mumbai-based and comfortable commuting daily. This is a 6-day work week.)
Position:
QC Executive / Quality Control Officer
Experience: 3–6 years (Food Industry – Mandatory)
Education Requirements:
- B.Sc / M.Sc in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
- Diploma / Certification in Food Safety or HACCP (Preferred)
- Strong knowledge of FSSAI regulations and documentation
We Are Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Detail-oriented and disciplined
- Well-versed in food safety, hygiene & FSSAI compliance
- Experienced in audits and compliance documentation
- Comfortable managing lab testing and reports
- Confident in implementing and monitoring SOPs on the production floor
- Capable of managing pest control and cleaning schedules
- Experienced in conducting hygiene & SOP training for staff
- Proficient in basic computer skills (Excel, reporting & documentation)
- Experienced in F&B manufacturing (Mandatory)
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete ownership of daily QC reporting and documentation
- Maintain batch records, QC logs, and compliance files
- Ensure production & packaging adhere to approved SOPs
- Monitor floor hygiene and food safety standards
- Oversee pest control processes and maintain records
- Implement and track equipment & facility cleaning schedules
- Coordinate product sample testing with external labs
- Conduct and document internal shelf-life testing
- Manage internal & external audits
- Handle FSSAI compliance, renewals, and updates
- Conduct regular staff training on hygiene & SOPs
- Support R&D trials and quality improvements
