About the Role
As we build a scalable instant convenience food business specializing in Instant Hot and Cold Beverages, this leadership role will drive production excellence, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. The position is accountable for batch consistency, food safety, yield control, and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Production Management
- Oversee powder blending, batching, and packing operations
- Control yield loss and minimize process wastage
- Ensure batch-to-batch uniformity in tea premix and dairy blends
- Monitor moisture, flowability, bulk density, and caking
- Implement SOPs for production planning and traceability
Quality & Compliance
- Implement HACCP and structured food safety systems
- Define Critical Control Points (CCPs) for powder blending and dairy handling
- Approve incoming raw materials (sugar, dairy powders, tea extracts, additives)
- Conduct COA validation and batch release controls
- Ensure compliance with regulations and labeling norms
- Manage third-party and institutional audits
Stability & Control
- Conduct shelf-life and accelerated stability studies
- Monitor microbiological parameters
- Ensure packaging compatibility for hygroscopic powders
Required Experience
- 5–10 years in instant beverage powders, tea premix, or powder processing
- Strong experience in powder blending and bulk handling
- Exposure to HACCP / ISO 22000 / FSSAI systems
- Deep understanding of sugar-dairy interaction and moisture control
Education
B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, or related field
