Production Operations Manager (Food Technology)

We are looking for a Production Operations Manager (Food Technology) to join our team in Gurugram, Haryana, India. If you have a strong background in food manufacturing and production management, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop weekly and daily production plans based on demand.
Collaborate with the sourcing team to ensure ingredients are available for production.
Create and manage checklists for floor maintenance, hygiene, and machinery upkeep.
Ensure availability of handlers on the production floor by coordinating with production admin.
Maintain accurate records of production input, output, waste, and WIP.
Ensure adherence to production processes set by the R&D team.
Uphold GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GHP (Good Hygiene Practices) standards.
Work with cross-functional teams to streamline production processes.
Conduct training sessions to improve manpower efficiency.
Implement best practices in inventory management, such as FIFO and aging.
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing production floors in the food manufacturing industry.
Proven expertise in manufacturing line management, planning, and target setting.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel or Google Sheets.
Certifications in Three Sigma, Six Sigma, GHP, and GMP are mandatory.
Preference for additional certifications like HACCP, 5S, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, Auditor’s training.
Strong attention to detail, discipline, and excellent manpower management skills.
