About the Job
Job Purpose and Impact:
Cargill is seeking a Production Officer to ensure safe working conditions for shift personnel. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment according to established guidelines and processes, ensuring the output of finished products aligns with production plans and quality standards.
Key Accountabilities:
Plan, organize, coordinate, and control the tasks and functions of the shift team.
Ensure production output meets required standards, specifications, and guidelines.
Supervise and manage the accounting of raw materials.
Achieve and improve upon key performance indicators (KPIs).
Develop internal standards, procedures, instructions, and staff training to meet company requirements.
Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical, or customer support issues with minimal supervision, escalating only the most complex matters.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma, secondary education level, or equivalent.
At least four years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to balance and achieve results in areas like food safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
