About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Production Executive to manage our manufacturing process while actively contributing to Research & Development (R&D) in the FMCG/Food Products sector. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and developing innovative products to enhance our competitiveness in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Management:

  • Supervise daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality compliance.
  • Monitor and optimize production lines for cost-effectiveness and minimal waste.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and regulatory standards (FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, etc.).
  • Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure raw material availability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.

2. Research & Development (R&D):

  • Assist in the development of new food products and improving existing formulations.
  • Conduct product trials, stability studies, and sensory evaluations.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer preferences to drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale up R&D formulations for mass production.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and food safety norms in product development.

3. Quality & Compliance:

  • Implement and monitor quality control processes.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for food safety compliance.
  • Liaise with QA/QC teams to ensure product consistency and regulatory adherence.
  • Maintain and update SOPs for facility and factory compliance.

4. Process Optimization & Cost Control:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Optimize ingredient usage and production techniques to reduce costs without compromising quality.
  • Develop sustainable manufacturing practices in alignment with company goals.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of food processing, ingredients, and formulations.
  • Hands-on experience with R&D methodologies, product trials, and sensory analysis.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues and optimize processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in using production planning software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in food manufacturing or FMCG R&D.
  • Previous exposure to new product development (NPD) and process improvement.
  • Degree in food science, food technology, or related field.
  • Certification in HACCP, FSSAI, or other food safety standards is a plus.
