Schreiber Foods is looking for a Product Manager to lead and deliver year-over-year profit improvement (YOYI) from assigned product categories. This role requires strategic leadership, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration with various departments including Sales, R&D, Engineering, Finance, and more.
You will develop marketing strategies and tactics to drive new products, packaging innovations, promotional programs, and profitability targets. As a consumer expert, you’ll analyze trends and competitors while applying marketing disciplines to customer and control brand environments.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution:
Create and execute strategic plans to drive growth and meet profit targets.
Identify incremental opportunities, such as cost savings and new distribution.
Tactical Execution:
Lead cross-functional teams to launch new products and improve packaging.
Develop pricing ranges and rationalize SKUs to improve variable income.
Support sales with presentations and materials.
Leverage Consumer Insights:
Utilize syndicated data and primary research to identify trends and opportunities.
Develop selling aids and presentations for sales teams.
What You Need to Succeed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business (MBA preferred).
5+ years’ experience in marketing or general management in consumer packaged goods.
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong strategic abilities and leadership qualities.
Financial and marketing acumen with experience presenting to senior leadership.
Proven track record in strategic planning within complex environments.
Expertise in interpreting consumer research to drive results.
Personal Attributes:
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Team player with the ability to network and build relationships across functions.
Results-oriented, innovative, and detail-focused.
Proficiency in project planning and execution.
Flexibility to travel up to 40%.
