Orkla India is looking for a Product Development Manager to join our R&D team in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
If you’re passion ate about food innovation, love building authentic Indian cuisine products, and bring strong R&D and QA/QC experience in the food industry, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and drive the Stage Gate Innovation Process.
- Build a strong basic research platform within the R&D Centre.
- Provide technical support to QA/QC and production teams.
- Ensure safety & hygiene standards in R&D labs.
- Conduct fieldwork and ethnographic research in consumer environments.
- Be a key member of cross-functional teams, collaborating with packaging and recipe development.
- Coach, manage, and develop a team of R&D Executives.
What You Bring:
- M.Sc./PhD/M.Tech/B.Tech in Food Technology or Food Processing Engineering.
- 6+ years of experience in food R&D; 2+ years in QA/QC.
- Proven experience in new product development, scaling, and packaging innovations.
- Knowledge of SAP, SOPs, raw material standards, and line commissioning.
- Passion for building authentic Indian cuisine and driving innovation.
