Job Description
K Ahuja Foods is seeking a Procurement Executive to manage the purchase of raw and packing materials vital to our daily operations. The ideal candidate will ensure stock levels are maintained efficiently, while also securing competitive pricing and quality from vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Research: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, comparing offers.
Material Procurement: Source raw and pack ing materials and forecast future demand.
Contract Negotiations: Establish and manage contract terms, prices, and supplier relations.
Order Tracking: Ensure timely delivery and handle any necessary follow-ups.
Quality Control: Review the quality of purchased products.
Documentation: Maintain records of purchases, deliveries, and invoices.
Supplier Management: Handle returns, rejections, and supplier communications professionally.
Travel: Visit vendor locations for product checks and oversee material procurement.
Coordination: Work closely with internal teams to streamline procurement processes.
Required Candidate Profile:
Education: Degree or Masters in relevant field.
Experience: 1-2 years in procurement, or Freshers with strong potential.
Skills: Strong communication (English & Hindi) and negotiation skills.
Travel: Willingness to travel 40-50% monthly across various states in India.
