Role: Plant Quality Manager
What You Will Do (Before → After Impact)
Before: Daily quality operations need strong oversight
After: You will manage raw material inspections, in-process checks, finished product evaluations, and sanitation verification to ensure zero-defect output.
Before: Quality standards must meet company & regulatory expectations
After: You will maintain and enforce quality standards aligned with policies, FSMS, HACCP, FSSAI, GMP, GLP, and all industry regulations.
Before: Food Safety Systems require implementation & upkeep
After: You will develop, implement, and maintain robust Food Safety Management Systems ensuring full legal compliance.
Before: External audits and customer assessments need smooth handling
After: You will prepare for and lead external audits, inspections, and client quality assessments.
Before: Quality documentation lacks optimization
After: You will maintain QA records, verification logs, traceability documents, and drive CAPA with thorough root-cause analyses.
Before: Leadership needs strong quality insights
After: You will generate quality and food safety performance reports for leadership decision-making.
Before: QA/QC teams require guidance
After: You will supervise, train, and mentor QA/QC staff and conduct ongoing training for plant employees on safety, hygiene, and quality procedures.
Before: Quality trends and deviations impact efficiency
After: You will analyse trends, reduce defects/waste, improve processes, and minimize customer complaints.
Before: Cross-functional coordination can improve
After: You will collaborate with production, maintenance, procurement, and R&D to enhance product consistency and operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Tech, Microbiology, Dairy/Food Science, or related fields
- 10–15 years of QA/QC experience (FMCG experience is mandatory)
- Strong plant-level quality & food-safety experience
- Deep understanding of FSMS, HACCP, FSSAI, GMP, GLP, and audit compliance
- Experience in plant-level audits and cross-functional coordination
- Strong analytical, leadership & communication skills
