About the Job:
Education:
Graduate / Postgraduate degree in Dairy / Food Technology or Microbiology
Experience:
20-25 years in manufacturing plant operations (preferably in dairy/ice cream), with at least 10-15 years in ice cream industry
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate manufacturing operations for production, processing, packaging, and utility departments.
Ensure production line schedules align with facility capabilities, customer requirements, and financial planning.
Manage materials replenishment, quality standards, and performance metrics to support organizational goals.
Oversee cost structures for manufacturing by keeping operational expenses within budget and exploring cost-reduction measures.
Create and maintain proper documentation protocols, ensuring all records are regularly reviewed.
Ensure 100% compliance in plant operations and foster a culture of food safety.
Guarantee product availability according to the sales forecast.
Commission new projects and identify new business opportunities and innovations in the ice cream sector.
