About the Role
PepsiCo is looking for a SC QC Coordinator to join our team in Patiala, Punjab. The role involves ensuring top-quality standards of Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM) received in the plant, implementing quality systems, and supporting continuous improvement in compliance, food safety, and vendor quality performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality checks of RM/PM materials received at the plant as per FLI standards.
- Monitor RM/PM tests, report non-compliance of service providers, and communicate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive reports for communication across teams.
- Conduct regular audits of RM/PM stores for storage conditions and FIFO/FEFO implementation.
- Ensure smooth implementation of food safety policies at the plant.
- Implement quality control systems and standards for vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance and maintenance of GMP, GHK, GLP, and support internal/external audits (HACCP, AIB, Personal Hygiene, Process Audits).
- Communicate with vendors regarding root cause and failure analysis for deviations and follow up on corrective actions.
- Ensure all RM/PM materials meet PepsiCo’s FLI standards; report and follow up on any deviations or discrepancies.
Qualifications
Education:
- B.Sc / B.E. / B.Tech / M.Sc in Food Technology
Skills & Attributes
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and food safety systems
- Attention to detail with excellent reporting and communication skills
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and ensure corrective/preventive actions
- Familiarity with GMP, GHK, GLP, HACCP, AIB standards
