PepsiCo: SC QC Coordinator
Location: Kosi, Uttar Pradesh, India
PepsiCo is looking for a highly skilled SC QC Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Kosi, Uttar Pradesh. The primary role of this position involves ensuring the highest quality of products at our greenfield plant. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for stabilizing shift operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining compliance with various quality systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Vertical Startup and Quality Culture: Lead the greenfield plant startup with a focus on quality, ensuring adherence to product standards and building a robust quality culture.
Shift Operations: Oversee shift quality KPIs, manage wastage, resolve complaints, and conduct quality checks during production.
Quality Control and Testing: Perform Cook’s Tests on potatoes, conduct online quality checks, and carry out analytical tests to ensure product consistency.
Oil and Frying Quality: Manage fryer oil quality, conduct checks for Free Fatty Acid (FFA), Peroxide Value (PV), and other key parameters.
Training and Development: Train and mentor quality checkers, ensuring they conduct proper inspections and maintain quality standards.
Audit and Compliance: Ensure GMP, HACCP, and other quality standards are met during internal and external audits.
Customer Complaints: Address and resolve customer complaints by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Maintenance and Calibration: Work with the engineering team to ensure equipment calibration and proper maintenance of machines to minimize waste.
Qualifications:
B.Tech in Food Technology
3-5 years of experience in quality control, preferably with exposure to food safety systems, ISO standards, and knowledge of FSSAI/HACCP/AIB.
Expertise in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) is a plus.
