About the Job

Overview:

As an Online QC Executive at PepsiCo, you will be responsible for maintaining product quality standards, ensuring minimal customer complaints, and carrying out various quality control processes.

Key responsibilities include:

Performing stringent on-line quality control checks.

Conducting finished product inspections.

Implementing quality control systems and standards.

Ensuring compliance with GMP, GHK, GLP, and audit requirements (HACCP, AIB).

Troubleshooting during production to minimize waste and maintain product quality.

Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for quality defects.


Key Responsibilities

Ensure that potatoes issued for production meet standard specifications.

Conduct Cook Tests to monitor factors such as undesirable color, internal defects, and greening percentage.

Report status to the Agro Department and determine the number of pickers required.

Conduct routine online quality checks in production areas to ensure compliance with FLI standards.

Perform visual inspections and ensure key operating parameters of machines are within the specified range (Peelers, Fryers, Slicer, Chip Conveyors, Seasoning Tumbler).

Monitor and adjust factors like slice thickness, moisture content, and seasoning levels.

Perform analytical tests to decide on steps like blanching and anti-foaming agents.

Conduct frequent checks on frying oil quality (FFA, OV, PV, taste, odor).

Monitor parameters such as bulk density, moisture, and seasoning in non-PC products.

Take corrective actions as needed based on test results.

Communicate with the shift in-charge and Agro Department about process needs and concerns.


Qualifications

Educational Requirement: B. Tech (Food Technology)

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience, with exposure to food safety systems and ISO standards.

Preferred Knowledge: HACCP, AIB, and TPM practices.

Key Skills:

Strong understanding of food quality systems.

Experience in conducting online production quality checks.

Proficient in root cause analysis and failure resolution.
