GoDesi Mandi, a fast-growing FMCG brand celebrating authentic Indian sweets & snacks, is looking for an experienced New Product Development (NPD) Head to lead innovation and growth.
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
Role Overview
As NPD Head, you will drive the complete innovation lifecycle—from identifying consumer insights and market opportunities to product formulation, scale-up, and successful market launches. This is a strategic leadership role with high ownership and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the NPD & innovation roadmap aligned with business goals
- Lead concept development, formulation, process optimization, and cost management
- Drive consumer testing, shelf-life validation, and regulatory compliance (FSSAI, HACCP, GMP)
- Oversee packaging strategy and go-to-market readiness
- Lead and mentor a high-performing NPD & R&D team
Ideal Candidate
- 8–10+ years of experience in FMCG food NPD/R&D
- 5+ years in a leadership role managing NPD teams
- Proven track record of launching 8+ successful food products
- Strong expertise in scaling products, cost optimization, and compliance
- Bachelor’s in Food Science/Food Technology (Master’s preferred)
