About the Role:
Schreiber Foods is hiring a Milk Purchasing Coordinator in Baramati, Maharashtra. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing milk procurement operations, ensuring compliance with management directives, and maintaining the quality and volume of milk in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the BMC operation, focusing on milk quality and volume.
- Collaborate with BCF and farmers to source compliant milk.
- Expand the BMC network by identifying new villages for sourcing.
- Oversee day-to-day operations such as tanker and field team movements.
- Review milk pricing in the milkshed and provide feedback to management.
- Ensure procurement aligns with budgeted quantities, managing lean and flush periods effectively.
- Build strong relationships with farmers through regular meetings, veterinary camps, etc.
- Monitor agent and farmer payments, ensuring proper documentation and resolving issues.
- Optimize route timings and transport costs.
- Drive initiatives such as cattle feed supply and other farmer support services.
- Ensure BMCs comply with safety and statutory norms, including audits and controls.
- Continuously improve productivity and capacity utilization at BMCs.
- Support farmers in accessing government subsidy schemes.
- Analyze procurement, operational costs, and sales performance on a monthly basis.
What We Need:
- Qualification: Diploma in Dairy Technology.
- Experience: 4-6 years in a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to tasks.
