Job Summary:
As a Microbiologist on our Quality Assurance team, you’ll play a key role in monitoring and controlling microbial contaminants to ensure the safety and quality of our meat products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform microbiological testing of food samples per FSSR (Food Safety and Standards Regulations, 2011).
- Prepare and maintain microbiological media.
- Operate lab instruments like incubators, autoclaves, and microscopes.
- Conduct physio-chemic al tests, including Free Fatty Acid (FFA) analysis, Salt, Moisture, and routine analysis of food samples.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory tests, results, observations, and conclusions.
- Knowledge of food safety audits and regulations, including FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in microbiology or quality control, preferably in the meat industry.
- Strong analytical and microbiology skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
