General Mills India, a leading global food manufacturer, is looking for a Manager – Projects for its India Foods Business in Nashik, Maharashtra. The company is home to renowned brands such as Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, Haagen-Dazs, and Nature Valley.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee small to large-sized capital projects in the manufacturing plant, ensuring high-quality execution within time and budget constraints.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with teams, stakeholders, external business partners, contractors, and consultants.
- Capital Project Management: Responsible for cost estimation, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead improvement projects like capacity enhancement, debottlenecking, and efficiency improvements.
- Safety & Quality: Ensure safety during construction and plant operations, while maintaining equipment standards and GMP/HACCP compliance.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project documentation and provide cash flow information on ongoing and future projects.
- Mentorship: Guide platform teams to generate ideas and implement execution excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical).
- 8+ years of experience in capital project execution.
- Strong understanding of food safety, plant operations, and industrial environments.
- Proficiency in cost estimation, project scope management, and tracking.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification.
- Familiarity with food manufacturing regulations (GMP, Food Safety).
- Experience in plant maintenance.
